What exactly do I get for $29?
A hosted guest guide at a permanent link (like getporchkit.com/g/demo), plus a printable sign pack: a WiFi sign whose QR code connects guests to your network automatically, a guide QR sign, and a welcome card. You can publish up to 5 properties on one purchase and edit them as often as you like.
Is it really one payment, or is there a renewal?
One payment of $29. There is no renewal, no annual fee and no plan to upgrade to. Your guides stay live at their links.
Do my guests need to download an app?
No. The guide is an ordinary web page. Guests scan a QR code or tap a link and it opens in their phone's browser.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. You can build your entire guide and preview exactly what guests will see without paying. Payment unlocks publishing it to a public link and printing clean signs.
What happens when I change my WiFi password or check-in details?
Edit the guide and republish. The link stays the same, so the QR codes you already printed keep working and guests see the update immediately.
How does the WiFi QR code work?
The sign encodes your network name and password in the standard format phones understand. A guest points their camera at it and their phone offers to join the network, so nobody types a long password.
Where is my work saved? Can I lose it?
While you're building, your draft is saved in your browser and backed up to our servers under a private link you can copy or email to yourself. Once published, the guide lives on our servers, so it survives a lost phone, a cleared browser or a new computer.
Can I edit from a different device?
Yes. Restore your purchase in the builder on any device and your published guides load there, ready to edit.
How many properties does one purchase cover?
Five. Each gets its own guide, its own link and its own sign pack.
Who is it for?
Hosts with one to five short-term rentals who want guests to stop asking the same questions, and who would rather not add another monthly subscription to run one web page. It suits non-technical hosts: there is no account to create and nothing to install.
How is it different from a Canva welcome book template?
A template gives you a document to maintain and reprint. PorchKit gives you a hosted page guests open on their phones, which you can change after the signs are printed.
What does it not do?
It isn't a property management system. There's no booking calendar, no messaging, no cleaning schedule and no channel manager. It does one job: the guest-facing guide and the signs that point at it.
